Before you start

Read this once — it takes two minutes, and it'll stop you from losing your one attempt to something avoidable. The test is invite-only: you register now, and if you're shortlisted we email you a one-time access code. The test begins only once you enter that code — so register first, then come back when it arrives.

The test

  • 20 questions, drawn adaptively from four difficulty levels — the better you do, the harder they get.
  • One question at a time. You can't skip ahead and you can't go back to a previous one.
  • 40 minutes, hard limit. The clock starts the moment you begin and does not pause — not for a refresh, not for a phone call. When it hits zero, the test submits itself.
  • One access code, one attempt. The code we email you works a single time, on one device — enter it carefully (three wrong tries locks it).

Before you click start, have ready

  • ~40 uninterrupted minutes and a stable internet connection.
  • A quiet spot — once the timer starts, it doesn't stop.
  • Your resume as a single PDF, 4 MB or smaller.

The rules

  • Do it yourself — your own head, pen and paper. No second person, no messaging anyone for help.
  • No looking things up mid-test: no search, no notes, no second device.
  • Don't refresh or close the tab unless you have to — the timer keeps running and your current question stays fixed.

Do not use AI

Don't use AI to take this test. We will detect it, and you'll have wasted your time and ours.

We're not saying this to be difficult. The whole point of the test is to see how you think — your reasoning, your instincts, where you get stuck and how you work your way out. An AI's answers tell us nothing about you, and they're easier to spot than you'd guess: the timing, the phrasing, the way the answers cluster all give it away.

If we catch it, your application is over and we won't follow up. And honestly, you don't need it: a thoughtful wrong answer tells us far more than a perfect one you didn't produce. Don't know something? Reason it out and move on. Being honest here is genuinely in your interest.
